- 1/2 cup quartered, sliced Beets
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh Burdock roots
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh Dandelion roots and greens
- 1 teaspoon of Turmeric powder

- Pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon of clarified butter (ghee) or olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
Saute the turmeric, pepper and salt in the butter or oil for 1- 2 minutes in a covered saucepan. Add the vegetables and the water and simmer, covered, for approximately 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Serve warm.
