Internal Applications: Tea, Tincture, Capsules.
Topical Uses: Sore Throat
Topical Applications: Essential oil is used in throat lozenges. Gargle for sore throat.
Culinary uses: Fruit dishes, sauces. Used much like Allspice.

Chemical Constituents: Cubebic acid, cubebene, cubebin, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, piperidine, caryophyllene, sabinene.
Contraindications: Avoid during inflammation of the digestive tract.
Comments: Cubeb was once used to treat infections of the genito-urinary tract, including gonorrhea, although today most people use antibiotics. It was also used in special cigarettes to be smoked to treat asthma.
